The Truth Is In Here. It’s all about Truth on Let’s Go this week! The truth about the universal elimination tournament. The truth about Jean’s parents. And most importantly of all, the truth about the moon landing in 1969. All these truths reveal themselves on this week’s Let’s Go! The Weekly Anime Podcast About Weekly Anime.

Episode 241 – Broly, The Legendary Super Saiyan

Broly

Elliot and Lewis are here to discuss the most popular non-canon Dragon Ball character of them all, BROLY~! We review his first appearance in the film Broly, The Legendary Super Saiyan AKA Dragon Ball Z: Burn Up!! A Close, Intense, Super-Fierce Battle. And then we find out just how popular the man is as we delve into the world of Broly-based AMVs.

Let’s Go! Episode 29 – Hell In The Hole

hell In The Hole

This week: Tiger The Dark faces down Tiger Mask’s felled foes in Hell In The Hole, Buu faces Basil The Brush, the Shinsengumi face their fear of other people and the Fenny faces the fact that the world is not fun.

All this and more as the two faces of Brian and Dwayne talk into microphones for an hour about weekly anime.

Episode 240 – The Famous Anime Podcast Pilot

Aaron Long is back to help us pilot a new format, THE FAMOUS ANIME PODCAST. What does this presumptuously titled podcast involve? In it we discuss 10 of 2002’s most notable anime, and decide which of them can be considered famous in 2017. It mostly works. Though you may hear a few more Skype noises than intended.

Let’s Go! Episode 28 – Flip Flappin’ Around

We take a diversion from the norm this week as Niall delivers his final verdict on last season’s Flip Flappers and anime-adjacent The Red Turtle. Brian also went off the beaten track with the debut of SPACE SENTAI KYURANGER!

But do not worry, we also found time to watch and talk about all the usual stops as well.

NB: this week’s episode title is a reference to this 90’s puppet-led hit. Pretty sure Flip Flappers would have been greatly improved by covering that song with appropriate lyric changes.
